Wishlist for Autumn

Before I get started on this wishlist post, I thought I'd mention that I've been featured over at Nikstar's blog as part of her Highschool Confessions and Fashion Flashbacks series. So if you'd like to see me as an awkward teenager, click here.

And now onto today's post...

It seems like everything I'm lusting after for my A/W wardrobe is either grey or black. So I think my general style plan for this season is going to be grey and black outfits with pops of bright solid colours from accessories. I'm really digging all the military details that are showing up, so I'm hoping I can toughen up my look a bit with those. I'm very much looking forward to layering things and wearing tights and scarves again, fashion-wise I tend to be more at home in the cooler months.

Anyway, I thought I'd share with you my autumn wishlists for my favourite stores.

Evans...

1. Shredded Neck 2-1 Vest - £23
2. Heart Stripe T-shirt - £20
3. 3/4 Sleeve Military Blouse - £29.50
4. Grey Fairisle Waistcoat - £35

I thinks Evans has been really smart to split up their newer stuff into different collections - it makes it really easy to find stuff that suits your own style. My personal favourite is the "rebel rock" collection. However, I don't think I'll be splurging on this stuff quite yet, as I'm waiting with baited breath for the new Beth Ditto line to come out. (One more reminder: My Evans discount code "EVPINP" gets you 10% off a £40+ order until Sunday)

Yours Clothing...

1.Tulip Skirt (with pockets!) - £16
2. Jersey Military Tunic - £22
3. Grey Jeggings £16
4. Jumpsuit - £35
(the jumpsuit looks much better on their site, I couldn't fit the pic in properly!)

They aren't the most exciting picks, but I can see each of these things becoming an autumn staple for me, especially that skirt! I'm thinking it's about time I tried me some jeggings and I really love those grey ones.

ASOS...

1. Embellished Shoulder T-shirt - £20
2. Blowfish Harnett Strapped Ruched Flat Boot - £55
3. Over The Knee Rib Socks - £4
4. Music Note Knitted Jumper - £30

I want those socks with those boots. Also, I'm kind of a sucker for knitwear with a cute print. And the shoulder details on that tee are awesome.

So those are my picks right now. I can't afford everything in this post but I'm hoping to at least buy some of these things and look for thriftier answers for the others.

What things are on your autumn wishlist?

  3. I love the new dresses and jumper dresses from Joe Browns at Simply Be, and have ordered a couple that i'm waiting imaptiently for! I want to get some jeggings, but the ones I did get from Asda go baggy at the knee straight away and wrinkle at the ankles. I don't know if that's a jeggings thing in general, or just that these were pretty crap!!

  7. I love your choices - I've got my eye on the music note jumper too - it looks sort of Mod. Evans and ASOS are so exciting at the moment :) I can't wait to see what the Beth Ditto range looks like!

As for myself, I seem to be gravitating towards a dark colour palette for autumn/winter. I can't wait to layer up with scarves and boots and actually wear jewellery! :D
