This weekend was amazing because it's been the first time I've started to feel like I have my own life here in Canada. I joined a samba drumming group by myself and had a lot of fun even though I didn't know anybody. I also got to hang out at an amazing lake house with some friends and do a lot of swimming and kayaking and sailing. I spent the whole time in my bathing suit even though there were skinny boys everywhere and you know what? I didn't care, I just had fun!
I didn't take nearly enough pictures, but I wanted to show you these couple so you can see my Evans bathing suit that I got for my birthday. I'll try and do a proper outfit post with it at some point, because these pics aren't great.
This brings my SUMMER CHALLENGE to an end - I'm really proud of myself for actually doing it. Thanks so much to all of you who encouraged and supported me, and especially to those of you who pushed yourselves out of your comfort zone too.
Miraculously I didn't get sunburnt even!

PS: I've just been taught how to use the timer function on Luke's camera and he has a tripod too, so I should be able to do more outfit posts now!

ReplyDeleteHaven't been to the beach yet, and probably won't even go. I do not have a good bathing suit at the moment, and since I only go to beach like once in 5 years, I do not want to waste money for it. And well, I think I am not on my comfort zone at beach in bathing suit...
WOW! Beth you look amazing. That costume looks gorgeous. I tried Evans myself, but even in the largest cup sizes the bust was just too small for me!!

I tried surfing in Bournemouth this summer - but the wetsuit looked pretty awful!!!

Beth you look amazing! Good for you! Ive never managed to get cup support in bra! The boobs are just too big! So i rely on gravity & the mono boob look :). Sounds (&looks) like you're settling in & having an amazing time.
