1) I've come up with a dressier way to wear my rose-print dress.
2) I'm practicing getting my arms out for my summer challenge.
I've talked before about how self-conscious I am about my arm chubs, so this is hard for me. I was feeling a bit frightened when I turned the camera on, but I saw this fan on my shelf and thought that might be a good prop to use to ease myself into baring my arms.

This isn't what I wore today, but I'm thinking of going to a comedy show this weekend, and so I was trying to come up with a cute outfit for if I go. If I do I'll add a cardigan though because... brrr! The tights are new and they're the first pair I've bought from Simply Be. They're pretty perfect size-wise, I often have trouble with tights, but I highly recommend these.
I do realise you can hardly see my arms, but just having them out was kind of a big step. This is all good practice for this summer when I actually plan to leave the house with bare arms (and I'll do an outdoor OOTD to prove it.) I'm declaring a truce with this part of my body, and maybe someday soon we'll be friends as well!
PS: Next time I bare my arms, I might even show you my tattoo!

ReplyDeleteI think all girls have some kind of a issue with their arms. I know I do, but I've learned to let it go over the years. I won't let my arm fat stop me from wearing a strapless dress or tank anymore. Neither should you. :)
I do habe the same thing about me and my arms... I go out with t-shirt wish not sooo short sleeves, but never with something sleeveless... I feel so uncomfy >___<

This is a cuuuuuuuute outfit! I love it with the tights. I wrote a post a while ago on the right to bare arms. I know a lot of bigger girls are self conscious about them, but I wanted to challenge everyone to show them off! I show mines all the time :D
