(apologies for the terrible webcam quality, and by the way, my hand didn't fall off here
- I just went to do the peace sign and it got blurred out)

That's right, it's the blue jumpsuit from the Beth ditto for Evans collection!
When the collection came out last month, I knew I had to have a piece for myself (honestly I'd have liked all of the dresses and leggings for myself too, but limited budget and all). I'm a huge fan of Beth Ditto. Her music, her style, but most of all her unyielding self-confidence. I took a good hard look at the collection and I saw pieces I knew were well within my comfort zone such as the little black dress and the the raincoat. And then I saw things that were decidedly out of my comfort zone. None moreso than the jumpsuit.
I wondered why it was that the jumpsuit frightened me so.
And I realised that it's because we've all been told that big girls shouldn't wear clothes like this. Big girls should wear wrap dresses and v-necks and big bold flower prints and whatever else we can to try and make our bums and tums look small.
Well Beth Ditto doesn't subscribe to that, she wears whatever the hell she likes whether she should or not, and now she's given us fat girls a collection that gives us the choice to wear crazy jumpsuits and domino print dresses too! All we have to do is pluck up the courage. So this is me plucking up the courage. Because I love this jumpsuit, whether it's flattering or not.
And wow do I feel good wearing it.

Le front.

Le back.
For helping big girls like me channel their inner rockstar!

(PS: Evans, if you can, please start including Canada in your "international" delivery service because most people in the great white North do not have parents in the UK that can forward your clothing to them. Kthx. xxx )
I love that Jumpsuit on you!!
